A client approached us when Enforcement action was threatened for unauthorised use of a static caravan as a dwelling on a touring caravan site. Acorn Ltd agreed with the client a proposal to seek alternative beneficial use as visitor accommodation. The Council in question refused the application, and Acorn successfully appealed the refusal, including securing a 100% award of our clients costs.

New Development
Acorn have secured numerous consents for new and converted dwellings, conversions of listed and historic barns, chalet holiday lodge parks, and urban car parking.

Change of Use
Acorn have successfully secured change of use of retail units to hot food takeaways, restaurants and bars. We have also been involved in a number of applications to change commercial premises into sports and leisure operations.
